Sorel's family came to Canada in 2003 to find a better future for their family and since then Sorel has been been working really hard to support his family. In March 2013 he was diagnosed with Leukemia.
It has been a year with many chemotherapies and the cancer is still with him and he is now on a trial experiment as a last resort. Sorel was the only breadwinner for his family and they have no other family in this country.
Since Sorel has been going through his various chemotherapies, the family debts have piled up and the family does not know how it will continue to survive.
