As many of you know, I’ve been living in the UK, finishing my master’s degree. While here, I’ve fallen in love with my life and myself. From the sense of belonging I’ve found to the opportunities unfolding in front of me, it truly feels like I’m on the path to making my dreams come true.

I’m planning to stay after graduation and build something long-term: a stable home, a future in my field, and a life with my cat, Sir Bastian, who has been with me through so much.

To do that, I’m facing some big, upfront costs: securing an apartment, covering the first month’s rent and deposit, and arranging international pet transport (which alone costs up to $4,000). While I’m doing everything I can to save, I’m limited to part-time work due to visa restrictions, and I know I won’t be able to reach this goal on my own.

So, for my birthday this year, I’m asking for help.
