Nova’s bit of joy fund

This fund is for my 6 year old niece Nova who has lost both her parents in the last three years.
On June 1st 2016, my sister Heather, Nova’s mom, passed away suddenly while Nova was at home alone with her. Obviously this was a traumatic experience for her. We have been working with her with counselling, supporting her as she grapples with that tragedy.
On May 19th 2019 (last night), Her Daddy Darin, was travelling on highway 6 in Vernon towards my mother’s house (her Nana’s house) in Lumby where Nova was waiting to have dinner with her Daddy. Unfortunately he was involved in an accident. He never made it there.
Around 5pm her father Darin was involved in a head on collision which we are told he lost his life immediately in.
My family and I are setting this fund up in hopes of adding a little magic to Nova’s life with possibly a future Disney trip.
