NOVA Memorial to Jason van Wyk

With deep shock and sadness NOVA Rugby has lost our Men's Head Coach Jason van Wyk after he passed away during his sleep Sept 16.

In one short year, Jason transformed our club through his dedicated leadership and integrity which inspired a committment to discipline and instilled a new era of NOVA Pride.  Our club is a family and he sat at the head of our table thanks to his love of rugby and those who play it.

NOVA Rugby now asks that you help us to take care of the van Wyk family as they tackle the difficult task of mourning a devoted husband and father as they travel to take him home to a final rest in his native South Africa.

Our immediate goal is to provide the funds to help cover the cost of the family's travel  between Texas and Virginia, as they settle his affairs, to assist them on the journey to South Africa  and to help meet their immediate  needs.

Please take a few moments and give what you can so that our rugby family can offer the van Wyk's some financial stability during these tough days.

Jason gave his all to rugby and to our club.  Let's show him one once again what NOVA Pride and rugby are all about.
