Please Help me go Home...

On March 24th, 2014 ,me ,Edgar Hurtado (had just turned 27) and my best friend Carlos Pakas (25 ,just 2 days before his birthday) were involved in a severe car accident on our way back home. About 5 to 10 minutes to get home. Carlos lost control of the vehicle while he was avoiding a pothole underneath a bridge ,hitting a utility pole .Carlos died at the scene and I was taken to the ER at the Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis, IN in critical condition.

I was totally unconcious for the first 4 weeks and the diagnosis was a complete  C-5 C-6 fracture on my spinal cord (making me a quadriplegic), along with a right scapula fracture. I also went through 2 cases of pneumonia, making my breathing depend from a ventilator for about 8 months.
My next step would had been to be transfered to a Rehab Facility. Unfortunately ,I have no insurance. I'm elegible for Medicaid for emergencies only and covered with the Advantage Program of the hospital. However, medical bills are adding up and the hospital is looking forward to discharge me ASAP  ...It's been 2 years and a few weeks.
Everyone who knows me, knows that I am an energetic, goal setting, enthusiastic, motivating, inspiring, happy person, always loving life, loving the world and living his life with purpose and passion.



But now ,I'm very much loosing every little bit of hope stuck in this hospital.It seems that I get a different infection everytime I start to feel well.  There's even times where I wish I would've died in the accident...
But I'm still here and i'm struggling trying to leave the hospital. Unfortunately, we have no place to take me home with this new condition so We were offered an old property in easy payments that needs tons of work.

Material, labor etc. But we are getting there. Me ,my mom and my little sister would be very greatfull if you help us with anything available for a person in my situation.
Fortunately a few people who I'm really proud to call my friends found us and are helping us with the repairs ,yet  we used the first 14hundred on changing the windows and we collected about 6hundred to do the floring but we got ripped off by 2 other people who said they knew how to do it...














So as you see we need the most help we can get.
Material ,Money ,Labor ,Front n Back doors ,etc...

...please ,touch your heart not just for me ,but for my little sister and my mom who is doing all she can to help.

PS. This is Chris Leeuw ,he is one of the very few guys with spinal cord injury who was paralized from neck down (quadriplegic) who was able to walk again...
