It's been quite a year. Leaving Ireland, serving in Lebanon and now spending six months in a school in California. I am confounded, amazed and give glory to the God who keeps moving me forward: often completely outside of my own timing (thank goodness!). I couldn't have made up the last year if I tried...
And now, a little more drama: I leave for Thailand in six weeks! Six (6)! Count 'em! I have been involved in a YWAM secondary school entitled "School of Missions and Evangelism". I get to do life alongside some of the most radical, sold out human beings ever. We do evangelism, learn in lecture and are planning an outreach to Thailand together.
Thailand--in a nutshell--will look like Bible distribution, hiking into the hills to reach unreached tribes and working alongside local pastors for their encouragement. We're hoping and praying that the Lord will move in people's hearts, releasing them from any bonds of darkness so they can know His name. I love the makeup of our team and the gifts we carry: please pray for us as we venture into Thailand.
Prayer is the first and most essential need, but you can also give [after reading Matthew 25:31-46, if you dare, recognizing that the 'least of these my brothers' (verse 40) refers more to those in the body of Christ--for they are your brothers through Christ's work--than those outside the faith]. All money will go toward airfare, transportation, accommodation and purchasing supplies once we are in country (such as Bibles in Thai, etc.).

Thank you for investing in the Kingdom and daring to come alongside me. Its a bold move, one in which you get to choose: do I serve God or money? It's never easy in a world saturated with the need to gain more stuff. You can't get your money back once it's spent or given away: but you can choose how to invest it. When you invest in the Kingdom through us, you enable us to walk forward into the darkness, come alongside the needy and show love in a world often enveloped in pain. We don't take that lightly.
