Not on My Campus UT - Fall 2018

1 in 5 women and 1 in 20 men are sexually assaulted during their time as a student at the University of Texas at Austin. Sexual violence is the biggest threat to a student's safety on campus and in 2015 the Not On My Campus - UT chapter was created  by students to prevent sexual violence and create a supportive environment for survivors.

The three pillars of our movement are education, advocacy, and support. To achieve our goals on campus, Not On My Campus relies on community donations from students, parents, and friends. Your support is crucial to our mission, and any donation we receive until the end of October will help fund our Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 programming.

Your donations will go directly into the education for our peer education program, where we train students from organizations across campus to become resources for individuals within their organizations. They are provided with training from Title IX offices, SAFE place, and other sexual assault related organizations on the resources available for survivors and how to foster a safe environment for their peers.

Donations will also go to advocacy programming. One example of advocacy programming that we have done in the past was our Denim Day event this past April. We created boards that we displayed around campus during the weeks prior and brought in a speaker to raise awareness and spark the discussion about the topic of sexual assault. 

No donation is too small to have an impact on our organization and our mission. We would be deeply grateful if you would help make our vision of a safe, enriching UT Austin campus a reality.
