Everyone has been asking how they can help our family owned restaurant (Ursa Major Bistro in Beulah, MI) that is on it's second shut down this year (take out only, after the entire busy season at only 25% capacity), and this is how you can help!
We are strong, we are resilient, and we will find our way out of this....we always do. But right now my staff is hurting.
At the moment we are down to 1 full time employee and 5 part time employees, and only our full time employee is getting any hours. Even with her hours, she's getting only a trickle of the tips she usually lives on. I want to help my staff. I don't want to raise money to "give them Christmas", I want to raise money to give them gas, rent, car payments, food on the table, and anything else they need just to live.
So for those of you asking how you can help, here it is! Our staff is the heartbeat of this entire business. We couldn't do this without them, and we wouldn't want to! Thank you so much for any and all Love passed along to them!
