NOSH Scituate

NOSH (Nourishing Our Scituate Heroes) has arisen out of a family’s wish to do something to help in the current crisis our world faces; in response to the awe-inspiring courage that our healthcare workers and first responders demonstrate each day they walk into work.  In thinking about how to give back, an idea was “hatched.” The idea was brought to Liberty Bay Credit Union given their reputation for being committed to the local community. We are grateful for their support and sponsorship in this effort. In fact, they have pledged $5,000 to kick off this event!

We are entering a season when people of different faiths will be celebrating holidays that mark new life and emancipation. Although these holidays will not be celebrated in the same way, NOSH gives us a chance to give to those who are caring for us and helping to free us of this frightening time. It is a way to stay connected while physically apart.
