Norton Home Lost In Tubbs Fire

On Monday October 10th at 3:30am I received a text from my mother, Gerry, that read "The house behind us is on fire". Earlier that morning my brother who is a Bennett Valley fire fighter ran into his room grabbed his gear and left to the station. My parents evacuated safely knowing that their home and all of the belongings cherished and hard earned were going to disappear in moments. My parents being strong reassured me that it was only stuff and that the memories will last forever.All I am asking to do is make re-building their life a little easier for them and my brother who is out there trying to save what he can during this catastrophe. I thank everyone who has reached out. Anything helps during this time.
