Northwich in Need's November Night

So we have a date set for the rough sleep, the 22nd/23rd of November!!
We will be out in force on the streets of Northwich for a 36 hour period, starting at 8am Friday morning, right through til 8pm Saturday night.
To ensure authenticity and to really drive the point home, we will be forgoing food/drink/refreshments other than what is donated on the day. We will also be wearing the clothes we are stood up in throughout with only a sleeping bag for warmth/comfort.
The plan is to have as many small groups as possible dotted throughout Northwich Town Centre in various locations and highlight the very real issues faced by our homeless community.
The reason there are not more homeless people on the streets of our town, is solely down to the unseen and tireless efforts of a small handful of volunteers, who receive no funding and only continue their amazing work through the kindness and goodwill of those who donate, with many of them putting their hands in their own pockets to ensure the continuity of the cause they are so passionate about.
We will also be using this opportunity to promote the wonderful work 2 animal charities do, that Billie Pickstock does fantastic work with - Save A Life Cheshire, and Care For The Paw, and her own furry friend will be joining us to raise awareness for the importance of homeless animals too!!
