National Championships 2017

The Northern Bears Under 14’s basketball team from Sydney have played with grit and determination all year to earn a position at the Australian National Titles, to be played in Dandenong, Victoria from October 2nd - October 7th 2017. This once in a lifetime opportunity will provide our boys with the possibility to meet and mix with fellow basketball athletes and be part of a championship that is showcasing the best club teams from around the entire country in one place at one time.

These championships have been the representative start for many Australian basketball legends and I am sure at this event we will also see some rising stars in action.

The boys have worked hard since November of last year training at least twice a week, to earn this coveted spot, enabling them to compete in the Nationals. Basketball is a costly pursuit, and this trip is the second time this year that the team is visiting Victoria. Any support you could provide this young team of aspiring athletes would be greatly appreciated, by the boys and their parents as your donations would help with Championship entry fees, travel, accommodation and food cost as well as team apparel.
