North Philly Ballers

We started a girls basketball team at our school, Gen. George G. Meade School (18th & Oxford) this year.  At our first practice, half the girl we're in boots or old sneakers.  They were sliding all over the floor.  I want them to feel like the athletes they are and give them the proper equipment.  The money raised with this gofundme will be spent on basketball sneakers for each of the 15-20 girls we anticipate signing up for the team by the end of next week.

Practices have already begun and we have games starting soon so there is a sense of urgency to get this project funded so the girls will get the most out of their shoes.  I will post receipts to the page to show exactly where the money was spent.
