Running for the Louth/Meath Hospice

Donation protected
Charlie is continuing with his chemo treatment, doing well and smiling through it all. He has lost over 14% of his body weight but this is understandable . With all this in mind I have decided to do the biggest challenge so far in my running journey and that is to run with Atlas, Running the 106 Miles from Belfast to Dublin . I am doing this with my friend and good running buddy from North East Runners Emma Kieran . We will laugh , cry , talk rubbish , encourage and motivate each other in this journey and hopefully some of our running buddies will join us for a few miles, it’s all about staying focused and enjoying the challenge.
In light of all the hospice has done for Charlie and also all the nursing staff/consultants etc. I am running it to try and raise some funds for the Louth and Meath Hospice, it’s incredible what all the different hospices do for cancer patients and I guess you all have at least one member of your family that has been touched by cancer and The Hospice was there for them.
If I could get one Euro from my running and non running friends it would be brilliant and go along way in the fund raising.
Some of you have donated already and for that I am very thankful, we are all busy doing our bit on the charity front and it’s not easy giving to every cause, that’s why I am suggesting a Euro if you can it will help a lot .
I am very grateful that Charlie is doing so well and like you ,I have had other family members who have benefited from the Hospice.
Thanks for all your support #GoBeyond
