North Forty News Campaign

Hi, I'm Blaine Howerton, Publisher and Owner of North Forty News.

Five years ago, North Forty News was a failing newspaper. I took on this endeavor, so I could save one of Northern Colorado's last remaining locally-owned newspapers. Over the years, North Forty News has expanded from a tiny monthly newspaper to a weekly news service -- serving all of Northern Colorado with local news through the newspaper and our website.

We now reach tens of thousands of people each week. We have successfully prevented the growth of news deserts in small and large communities throughout Northern Colorado.

As we continue to grow, North Forty News needs to diversify its revenue to protect it for generations. That is why we have started the Go Fund Me Campaign.

One of the future goals of diversifying North Forty News' revenue, is to form a Northern Colorado Marketplace.

The marketplace will feature only Northern Colorado products and services in a brick-and-mortar central location and through an online store. North Forty News will promote these products, services, and locations through our newspaper and online initiatives.

I am raising this funding to make a more robust North Forty News. I can't do it alone. I need our community to help!
