The North Atlantic Challenge is the ultimate adventure to solo row 4000 miles from Virginia Beach, USA - to La Trinite’ Sur-Mer, France. For the pursuit of a once in a lifetime adventure and to experience something extraordinary. To make a meaningful impact in our world and to hopefully inspire others to challenge their comfort zone.
Our Goal:
To raise $750,000 to support the work 5 Gyres ,Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation and Best Friends are doing to fight plastic pollution across our planet, to help with the challenges of childhood brain tumors and to help save dogs and cats in America's shelters.
With $250,000 going to each organization, here's how we can make a difference.
For our Planet:
A significant grant of $250,000 would support 5 Gyres science department’s ability to validate and accelerate solutions by giving the public, policymakers and corporate leaders the confidence they need that the solutions we employ are the right choice.
For The Kids!
$250,000 could truly mean a cure for children battling brain tumors. A donation of this significance could fund a 3 year early career research and development project in its entirety. Investing in cutting edge scientific discovery that can lead to life changing clinical trials!
For The Animals.
$250,000 would help Best Friends support more shelters in the US, that have large pet lifesaving gaps to overcome. It would enable us to increase resources for advancing our 2025 no kill mission and Save Them All.
