Norrin's heart surgery

Norrin Tyler entered this world on Mother's Day, May 14th, 2017, three weeks early and a whopping 10 pounds 4 oz and 22 inches long. Lindsey received the best Mother's Day gift, the birth of her beautiful baby boy. Immediately after Norrin was born, he began having trouble with his breathing and trouble regulating his blood sugar and was admitted into the NICU. Mom and Dad weren't even able to hold their son for a day and a half due to the medical complications. Then it got much worse: mom and dad received the heartbreaking news that Norrin was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot. It is the same condition Jimmy Kimmel's son was born with just ten days earlier. Norrin will require open heart surgery at around 4 months old. He is having trouble feeding and weighs less than his birth weight at 5 weeks old. He is requiring special formula that is very expensive, weekly doctor's visits and already a trip to the ER.
Mom has had to take a leave of absence from her job and Dad has already exhausted all of his paid time off. They will be traveling to Charlottesville for the surgery, which means Sweeney will have to miss at least another 10 days from work if all goes according to the doctor's plan.
We are Lindsey's best friends, Kristen & Natalia, and we are raising money for this family to help defray the medical bills, the cost of his formula and other expenses incurred because of this unexpected diagnosis . Lindsey will be out of work for at least 6 months, so their income has been cut in half while their monthly bills have skyrocketed.
Over the past 14 years that we have known Lindsey we found her to be one of the most caring and generous people you will ever meet and doesn't think twice about helping someone out in need. It has been quite an emotional roller coaster for Lindsey and Sweeney, so Natalia and I are asking for your help to alleviate as much financial stress as possible.
