Norma's Medical Journey Home

On January 16th 2018 my parents were involved in a serious car accident in New York.  At the time of the accident they were on their annual "snow bird" trip to Florida from Massachusetts.  My mother was left with a broken sternum, broken neck, broken foot as well as a broken arm since her original entry into the hopsital she developed pnemonia which thankfully she no longer has.  We were told she may not recover and most certainly could not me moved.   We have gone through serious ups and downs during her recovery and have only wished for her safe and healthy trip home to Massachusetts.  Our family has been with her every day since the first day taking rotations to be with her and my step-father.   We are finally being told that we can get her moved to Massachusetts however the insurance will not cover this since her care in NY is excellent.    We hope that we can get her moved without adding additional cost which my parents at this point cannot afford.   Donations no matter how big or small will be so appreciated.   Thank you all for your support and taking the time to reach through this.  Sincerely - The Swan-Davis family.
