My mother, Norma Williams was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer on July 18th. She is also been dealing with severe fibromyalgia, COPD and diabetes. She went for her first lumpectomy on August 20th under the care of a wonderful oncologist in Louisville. The lumpectomy went well, but after she had difficulty breathing, with her airway collapsing twice during surgery. She had to unexpectedly stay the night. We, her family had to go to a hotel. She got to come home the next day and recovered as expected but with a lot of pain. On her follow up with the oncologist a week later, he informed her that pathology had found that sadly he didn’t get all the cancer. She also had traces in two of the three lymph nodes he removed. Now, she is scheduled for another surgery to either have a mastectomy or another lumpectomy on the 17th of September. She will also be doing radiation and chemo 7 days a week for 4-6 weeks. She lives 30-45 minutes from the closets oncologist. She will have to travel that every day. Us, her children help the most we can. But we need your help!!! Please, we are begging. If you have a heart then please help our mommy fight this horrible monster called cancer! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️ May God bless you all
