Norm has guts!

OK.  Here it goes. First of all,  this pains me to do this.  
Physically and spiritually. But… Pride has many faces.

So, I'm gonna have a piece of my intestine removed because my bladder is attached to it and creating a painful situation. I'm so happy about this! Lol… I am though!! I was misdiagnosed with a bad kidney disease for two years and this is a better situation for me. This can be fixed and the kidney disease wouldn’t have been. So I am very grateful for this good news (whew!!!). But it's been determined that it can't be done micro surgically. Gonna be a big incision and I'm gonna need to heal.

I work hard. I've been working two jobs. My wife is a gifted teacher. We work hard but we expect that. Nothing is given to you. Own your life and all that it encompasses. That being said...

Besides the actual surgery, which, is scary expensive as well as being...well, scary. Lol. I will need a week in hospital and a five to eight week recovery. I have a very high pain threshold. I know many of you reading this knows this. I am obviously going for the five week mark. But Missing a month and a half to two months of work is gonna be hard. We need both of us to work to make the whole thing work.

So, someone suggested this forum. If you can help it would be awesome. If you can't that is totally ok! Just give me a positive thought! All of it counts. Everything starts with intent. It will all work the way it's supposed to. Peace guys...
