The XXIII Winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang South Korea are happening in February 2018, and my younger brother Leif Nordgren will be competing in the Biathlon events.
Christy and I are raising funds to help with the travel costs of making the long trip to cheer Leif on in his second Olympic games. We made the journey to Sochi four years ago, and it was an unfortgetable experience. We couldn't be more proud of Leif and his accomplishment of competing at the highest level of elite sport, and it's hard to describe the overwhelmng pride you feel to stand in the crowds and watch your brother compete on the Olympic stage.
The costs of a trip to PyeongChang are very high, and any help you can provide will help us root for Leif and Team USA this February! We are looking for support to help cover the cost of airfare to Korea and housing for several nights in the Pyeonchange area. We plan to watch Leif compete in at least 3 races during the first week of the games.
Knowing a little about the sacrifices Leif has made to attain this level of world class performance, we can't wait cheer him on from the sidelines at the 2018 Winter Olympics!
