Norah Sproles' Van Fund

If you’ve ever had the privilege of meeting Norah, you know she lights up the room with her beautiful smile, great sense of humor, and love of life! She is a social butterfly.  Norah Elisabeth Sproles is the 5-year-old daughter of a sweet friend. She was born with the most severe form of spina bifida, a serious spinal neural tube defect where the spinal cord didn't fully close in utero.  This affects the nerves going to the lower part of the body.  She has had many different surgeries, 10 in the first year alone.  These were related to the spine, brain, and GI.

Norah is under the care of many doctors and specialists.  Her appointments include weekly physical and occupational therapy.  As far as mobility, she uses a walker and "stander" but primarily is in a wheelchair wherever she goes.

As she's growing, it's becoming increasingly difficult to lift Norah into a vehicle.  A wheelchair-accessible van would make life a lot easier in what can be a challenging journey for this special family.

Norah is amazing.  She's unique.  An incredible gift.  Her parents are also amazing, trusting God in every situation.  What a great thing it would be to bless them with a van to help make their lives a little bit easier!
