NOODLE NEEDS HELP!

Noodle (the Poodle) has spent her life helping others. It is with great sadness that we are now asking others to help her... As a Therapy Dog with Therapeutic Paws of Canada, Noodle has worked for organizations such as Sunnybrook Hospital & Camh providing love and happiness amongst patients with Mental Health conditions and those on Palliative Care. When the world has seemingly locked people in dark and hopeless situations, Noodle has helped open the door to a better place. She has been credited with improving the lives of countless people, many of whom were unable to communicate to medical professionals without her presence. She has that magic touch - which was so successful it acted as a catalyst for developmental treatments with Therapy Dogs and Mental Health Patients. Unfortunately, Noodle has been diagnosed with a medical condition known as Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA), a serious and life-threatening complication of diabetes. We are hoping to manage it as best we can, but it’s unknown what the future will bring. We are trying to raise funds for Noodle to help cover the upkeep of her regular and intensive veterinary treatment that will help stabilize her condition and give her the best life possible. You may know Noodle personally, heard of the work she has done or just have personal experiences with Mental Health. She has done so much good in the world, but right now, she needs our help.
