Non-violence Great Buddha School

The Non-Violence Great Buddha School is an orphanage/school in a remote area of Nepal that houses, feeds and clothes over 100 children from all over Nepal, especially the Himalayan areas.  It also is a school for all these kids plus another 40 or more children from the surrounding area, all free to the students.  They are constantly struggling to make ends meet and do everything in their power to raise money to keep the doors open.  Instead of clothing, they asked for a sewing machine so they could make their own much cheaper.  The school and orphanage is mostly run by volunteer Buddhist nuns, squeezing every penny to get it to go as far as possible.  The main goal of this fund raiser is to buy a water filtration system so they can not only have clean drinking water (that they currently get from the jungle) but to also bottle and sell the water as a way to self fund themselves.  Without this home and school, these children will have no other place to go.  Please help me to help them.  I've been there many times and know these nuns and children personally.  Every penny raised will go directly to them except for the GoFundMe fees.  The cost of the filtration system is roughly $10,000.  The cost of building a small building to house it and work out of is roughly $7,000.  The rest is for the incidentals to get this project going.  All very reasonable compared to what this would cost in America.  With this project completed, this orphanage and school could be self sufficient and self funding.  Housing, feeding, clothing and educating over a hundred  children now and many more in the future.  With the recent earthquake in Nepal and all the poverty in the mountainous regions, there is no shortage of children in need.  Please help this in any way you can.  Contribute, share it, talk about it, do fundraisers for it, anything that can help.  Thanks!  My name is Bob Miller and Nepal holds a special place in my heart as do all these beautiful children and amazing, hard working nuns.
