Non-Hodgkin lymphoma cancer medical bills

Donation protected
On 6/16/20 I was officially diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

It started with a dull pain in the heart and chest region and an odd sensation during deep breaths. This led to a visit to the ER on 6/5/20 at which point a chest x-ray was done and a 12cm (5inch) tumor was found in my upper chest cavity. It was starting to push and wrap around my pulmonary artery (which controls the blood flow from your lungs to your heart). This immediately became a very dire situation. Only a little bit of growth of the tumor could literally kill me.

From here things go into override. Overnights in the hospital, not having family be able to see me due to corona virus restrictions. Being discharged and then sitting and waiting.

This was followed by biopsy's, bone marrow extractions, port installations, PET scans, CT scans, tons of blood work, consulting with doctors and talking talking talking. Which results in beginning chemo ASAP.

I'm now the process of receiving R-CHOP chemotherapy. My first chemo session was on 6/19/20 and if all goes according to plan my last one will be on 10/2/20 and I will be cancer free!

Of course through this process there has been a ton of unforeseen medical bills and monetary setbacks but I as most others would/will bankrupt myself in order to live, fight, and love for more days.

My girlfriend has had to take a permanent leave of absence from her job as a bartender at Taco Lu because it's to dangerous for her to be around other people and then come home and be around me. You see during chemo your white blood cell count drops super low and you become immune compromised and are at super high risk from everyday bacteria, colds, and infections. This in addition to the added risk of COVID-19 infection makes it so that both her and I have to be extremely careful around others as certain infections could literally be a death sentence.

Any money you donate will be used to service my medical debt and ongoing treatment and comfort. This is now a life long battle and good care isn't cheap.

Love all of you <3
