Non-binary Surgery Fundraiser

Hi family and friends!
In case I haven't shared with you, I wanted to let you know I identify as non-binary and have suffered from gender dysphoria for the majority of my life. I am having what is colloquially known as top surgery. Feel free to google it if you are not familiar with it and are interested in learning more. It is a surgery that is typically associated with transgender men but can also apply to many queer people. I am one of those!
What you need to change: Absolutely nothing! I am and will be the same person I have always been (just a lot more comfortable and confident in my own skin). You don't need to call me anything different or refer to me by any labels or pronouns you don't already use. You can use the pronouns you use for me now or gender neutral ones (they/them).
What you need to know: I will be having surgery on November 21. I am fortunate to have Dr. Garramone performing my operation. He is known as the best GenSculpt® non-binary top surgeon in the world! However, he is located in Ft. Lauderdale, FL thus increasing the costs of achieving my dream. I will need to be in Florida for 10 days for the whole process. This includes pre-op appointment, surgery day, and one-week post-op follow up.
Cost of surgery: The estimated total fees are around $8,125 to $8,400, which include the hospital facility fee, anesthesia fee, and Dr. Garramone’s Surgical Fee ($6,500).
Cost of accommodations: Approximately $1000. We will be doing our best to budget something affordable at around $100/night
What I am contributing: I am currently working PRN on top of my full-time job, and all of that money is going directly toward surgery. I am hoping to have $4,000 or more of my own hard earned money to put towards surgery/traveling costs. I have already put down a $1000 deposit, and the remainder of surgery costs ($5,500) is due 4 weeks before surgery, October 21.
I created this GO FUND me to allow those individuals who wish to help me achieve my dream do just that and to help educate those with questions. Do not feel obligated to donate. Even the smallest gift will help, like sharing this page with others.
Any donations I have over surgery/traveling costs along with my own hard-earned funds will be donated to the Jim Collins Foundation to help another individual have the operation of their dreams. The Jim Collins Foundation offers two grants for transgender/non-binary individuals planning to undergo gender confirmation surgery. The General Fund covers 100% of the medical fees associated with their operation. The Krysallis Anne Henbrough Legacy Fund covers 50% of the medical expenses related to their surgery, with the requirement that each recipient matches each grant dollar with their own funds.
