Purpose of the Organization: The National Organization of Ijebu Descendants is a recognized not-for-profit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code. The purpose of our organization is to educate members and non-members of our cultural heritage, promote unity among various organizations within the Ijebu community as well as other Nigerian ethnic groups, and to provide resources to enhance the economic growth of the Ijebu community. 

Mission/Goal of the Go Fund Me: One of our missions this year is titled "NOID Health Care Drive 2020." As part of this mission, we will be traveling to Ogun State, Nigeria in June of 2020 to provide local hospitals of the Ijebu communities with accessible health care services, awareness, and literacy. This includes educating and administering proper blood testing/drawing procedures, providing literacy to the local hospitals on best practices to mitigate preventable and treatable diseases, and purchasing and/or receiving donated medical supplies and equipment to provide to the local hospitals. 

We are hoping that you will help us in raising $20,000 to purchase medical supplies and equipment, or that you will help by donating medical supplies and equipment that is in good condition before we should embark on this journey. *** All money donations received will only be used to purchase medical supplies and equipment ***
