Noe's VICTORY over Leukemia

Tiare Noelani Ka'aina Chang always has a smile on her face, always looks to the positive, always supports those in need, always has time for others, always does what must be done and always loves with her whole heart!

 Noe was in Japan the first two weeks of June. While there, she wasn't feeling well. After returning home, she was still under the weather. She was finally able to see her doctor on Tuesday the 25th. Blood was drawn for testing and an IV was administered. Soon after, she was sent home. Later that evening, Noe received a call from Kaiser Moanalua advising her to report to their ER immediately! Upon arrival, the doctor informed Noe that her White Blood Cell count was 170! Noe was hooked up to an IV and soon was given a Platelet Transfusion to try and counter the white blood cells. 

At 1:00 Wednesday morning, Noe was admitted in to Kaiser Moanalua for monitoring. Later that morning, Noe had a bone marrow biopsy and given another platelet transfusion. And then, the answer to her question was finally answered that night. The results of her biopsy was positive, she had Leukemia!

Thursday morning, Noe was moved to Kaiser's 2nd floor where she started chemo treatment. For now, she will be there for an undetermined time for treatments and monitoring. 

This is why she needs our help! Noe is self employed and pays totally out of pocket for her medical insurance, etc. It is yet to be determined how many treatments or what kind of treatments she will need to fight this disease. Love and moral support is a neccesity but any financial assistance is greatly appreciated!

In addition, Noe's daughter Janelle Randazzo will be handling all of her financial responsibilities throughout this time.
