Color My World is an international non-profit providing emergency response relief and humanitarian services to those in need. Your contribution will assist a child in need and help Noelle Whetten reach her goal.
My name is Noelle Whetten, I am a sixteen-year-old junior at Franklin High School in El Paso, TX. I play soccer for my high school and have been a part of many community service opportunities and charity work throughout my life. Recently, I heard about a new opportunity. Something that will surely change my life forever. This opportunity is called Color My World, a humanitarian organization that travels all around the world helping children and families who truly need it most. I am going to India on my first humanitarian trip in June 2018. While there, we will be involved in some amazing projects. We will spend time in orphanages, working with children that survive on the streets
of India, we will serve meals to hundreds of individuals cooking and washing up. We will visit Sheroes Hangout a rehabilitation center for girls surviving the heinous chemical attacks, just to name a few of the amazing humanitarian efforts I will be engaged in over the 11 days in India.
I am working as a babysitter on nights & weekends as well as taking on some cleaning jobs. I am using this money to help fund my trip and to create Hygiene kits to take with me. India is an amazing country that is truly poverty stricken I can't wait to teach these children all about my favorite sport.
As I mentioned earlier, India 2018 is a "trip of a lifetime". My family and I have raised some of the funds for me to participate in this wonderful opportunity for 11 days. But there is so much to do, and I need a set amount of money by March 1st. I would love to spend time with these wonderful people who need my help. Although I have never liked to ask people for money, this cause is so important to me that I would love to have your help. This money would give me 11 days with these people so that I can extend my hand to those in need of some assistance and give them wonderful new experiences. Any assistance you can provide for me to reach my goal would be extremely appreciated.
