On January 15th, the Murillo/Camarillo family received the devastating news that Noel was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at the young age of 18.
He is being transferred from Cottage Hospital to City of Hope in Pasadena to start his cancer treatment and will take a 2-3 hour ambulance ride to get there. CHP will be providing a police escort through the 101 so he can get there as quickly as possible.
Noel has undergone three blood transfusions because his white and red blood cell count is dangerously low, which puts his immune system at a huge risk. He has been receiving antibiotics around the clock and has undergone two bone marrow biopsies which ultimately resulted in the diagnosis of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
The doctors are estimating that he will need years of treatment in order to beat this cancer and we are all here to support him every step of the way. Noel is #NoelStrong and we know he can do this! He has been very positive and brave about everything and we know this will help him during his treatment.
We (his brothers, brothers girlfriends, cousins, aunts/uncles and the rest of the family) all want to ease the financial stress of this horrible situation for his parents Elda and Joe. If anyone is able to help, no matter how big or small of a donation, we would all greatly appreciate it.
I will be updating regularly to keep everyone informed of Noel’s condition.

El 15 de Enero, la familia Murillo/Camarillo recibió la triste noticia que Noel fue diagnosticado con Leucemia Linfoblástica Aguda a los 18 años de edad.
Noel va a ser transferido de el Hospital Cottage a City of Hope en Pasadena para empezar su tratamiento y va a viajar 3 horas en ambulancia para llegar a su destino. La carretera al sur está cerrada por el deslave en Montecito pero el departamento de patrullas de carretera en California van a acompañar a la ambulancia para que pueda usar la carretera y llegue a Pasadena lo más pronto posible.
Noel a tenido tres transfusiones para levantar sus niveles de sangre que han bajado demasiado y lo ponen en riesgo de una infección. Noel también a recibido antibióticos y tuvo dios biopsias de la médula ósea que resultó en el diagnóstico de Leucemia Linfoblástica Aguda.
Los doctores estiman que Noel necesitará años de tratamiento para curar su cancer y todos estamos aquí para apoyarlo. Noel es #NoelStrong y nosotros sabemos que el va a estar bien! Su actitud positiva y valentía lo va a ayudar mucho durante su tratamiento.
Nosotros (sus hermanos, novias de sus hermanos, primos, primas, tíos, tías y el resto de su familia) queremos ayudar a sus padres, Joe y Elda con el estres financiero de esta horrible situación. Cualquier ayuda pequeña o grande será apreciada enormemente.
