Nodding Neighbourhood: A Seeding Victoria Project

Creating our Nodding Neighbourhood!

Seeding Victoria is a not-for-profit organisation aiming to supply Victorian native seed for revegetation and rehabilitation projects across western and central Victoria. We are trying to raise funds to develop a nodding saltbush (Einadia nutans) seed production area. Having a nodding saltbush seed production area on-site at Creswick will:

a) provide seed for projects without putting pressure on wild populations,

b) provide seed for the future with an increasingly changing climate and

c) reduce our organisations carbon footprint by reducing travel hours and fuel.

We humbly ask the community to help us raise $550.00, which will cover costs for site preparation, labour and weed control, growing nodding saltbush plants for the seed production area, and follow up maintencance.

Once the seed production area has been completed, we will hold an event where you can come and see the area that you helped us to create!
