What started out to be a normal family day on Saturday, July 13th ended up being a tragic affair for the Alvarez Family.

Alex Alvarez was crossing the stream of the Yuba State River with his daughter Amelie who accidentally slipped and fell in. Alex immediately went in after her without hesitation, luckily she managed to grab a hold of a rock and survived. Unfortunately, Alex continued to be taken away by the rapids and is yet to be found.

Alex was the sole provider for his whole family. His wife Anekka, that he met in junior high school, in choir class. Avery who is 17, Amelie who is 12, & his youngest son Arley who is turning 6 on July 31st. Their entire lives have been changed forever....

We are still hopeful , but we want to help out considering the worst case scenario. Alex's family will need financial assistance and any little amount can help them out. Our goal is to help the family with monthly expenses for a year.

Thank you...
