Noble Family Flood Relief

Donation protected
If you know Jan and Bill Noble, you know what big-hearted, amazing people they are, and how they are always the first to volunteer to offer a helping hand during anyone’s time of need.

Unfortunately, they have experienced a recent string of bad luck and they are now the ones who need us to rally around them, step up, and help.  This is our turn to repay all of their past kindness and generosity.

In March of this year Bill’s job was impacted. While this was a very stressful time, the family stayed strong by leaning on each other and their faith.

Two short months later on May 22nd tragedy struck when Bill admitted himself to the hospital after he experienced pain and swelling in his foot. The family’s thought was that he would be given some antibiotics and sent home. But doctors informed him that the pain and swelling resulted from a potentially fatal bacterial infection, one that could not be cured with simple antibiotics.  The infection was so severe that Bill’s lower leg was amputated on May 25th. True to form, the family quickly rallied and designed a plan that would allow a member of the family to be with Bill around the clock to help him adjust to his new way of living and keep his spirts high. But there was still a long journey and many challenges ahead.

Which brings us to today…

Jan and Bill were dealt another emotional blow thanks to the recent massive storm left behind 3 feet of standing water in their house, destroying everything they own on the first floor with additional damage to their garage. Both cars were totaled with water levels reaching higher than the windows. To make matters worse, the high waters made it impossible to leave the house, forcing them to miss Bill’s eagerly awaited prosthetic appointment. The following day the family gathered early and pulled up carpeting, removed drywall down to the studs, and threw all their belongings on the curb.

The Nobles have been through a lot recently, and despite having friends and family here to help through this challenging time, they are really needing a boost financially.  This is where we have the opportunity to show them love, compassion, and support during this time.

We are hoping to raise enough to  offer some financial relief as Bill has not yet been approved for disability.   It’s a long, difficult road ahead and we are very grateful for anything you can offer to help two very good people in their time of need.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for taking the time to read this, and for any contribution you are able to make. It is truly appreciated.
