Noah's Road to Successful Recovery

Donation protected
“Noah was born with a congenital heart condition called left ventricular non compaction cardiomyopathy with biventricular heart failure. His heart function was so severe that we didn't know if he'd survive birth. But Noah is a fighter and he did well after birth, so much so that he actually got to come home for a couple a weeks. Unfortunately his heart started failing and had to get readmitted to Seattle Children's Hospital and got listed for a heart transplant. On November 6th our prayers and wishes were answered. Now there seems to be an end to our journey here in the hospital and the day of our entire family being together under one roof is in sight. We have been so fortunate enough to have gotten a room at the Ronald McDonald house near the hospital and after discharge they want us stay in the area for about 2 months for frequent doctors visits. I'm thinking that we will just put the money towards the house. Please keep in mind that they do not force us to pay but they request a $30 donation/day. We just got a room for us to stay and and when family comes to visit.” -Laura Akimoto
Our goal would best fit the payment for housing and travels over the next few months for Laura and Derek’s family. They have been concerned and worried about Noah and we wish him a healthy recovery.
