<div>On that day in November, Noah was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer - Neuroblastoma.

<div>Our world shattered in an instant. Since then, hospital walls have replaced playgrounds, and IV drips have taken the place of toys. Noah has spent almost every special occasion in a hospital bed—his birthday, New Year’s Eve, Easter—days that should have been filled with laughter and childhood innocence. Watching him endure the treatments while still managing to smile breaks our hearts every day.

<div>We are incredibly grateful to the Brisbane Children’s Hospital for giving us hope. With a three-year treatment plan, we hold on with every ounce of strength, fighting alongside Noah to win this battle. While Noah will miss kindergarten, grade 1, and grade 2 at school, the hospital provides schooling, which has been an amazing support during this time

<div>As his mum, I immediately left my full-time job to be by his side. To stay close to Noah during treatment, we are also renting an additional living space opposite the hospital, where we now spend most of our time.
</div>
<div>But while we focus on his treatment, the bills don’t stop. Our daughter’s school expenses, travel costs to and from the hospital, rent, mortgage, and daily living expenses continue to add up—especially as the cost of living keeps rising.
