Todd Daniels Golf Classic

Hello Family and Friends!

It is hard to believe I am embarking on another journey for the THIRD Annual Todd Daniels Memorial Golf Tournament! May 16, 2015 @ Quail Creek Golf Course!

On August 28, 2012 the world lost a remarkable man due to complications from epilepsy. Todd Nicholas Daniels may have only lived 25 short years but his smile and love for life resonated with many.

I will never forget the shock, the confusion, and the numbness that August 28, 2012 has left me with. This day started as a typical Tuesday. Went to work, worked out, got my hair done, and went home. When I came home I received a phone call from a close friend asking if I had heard from Todd at all. It was his day off so I said no but that is pretty typical he sleeps most of the day on Tuesdays. Within minutes I realized something was not right. 15 minutes later I had arrived at his apartment, ran up the staircase and to his room only to have a paramedic let me know that Todd was no longer with us. At that very moment a large part of my heart was taken from me.

Todd was a man that lived life as if everyday was his last. His carefree spirit was contageous. His smile lit up a room. His love for life was easily admired by all. He could put a smile on anyones face. He could sing and dance better than anyone I knew. He was the BEST best friend I could have ever been blessed with. From countless Rams Tailgates to last minute trips to Nashville to late night laughs I could not have been more blessed to call him my best friend! I thank God everyday for putting him in my life. I can only hope that each of you reading this are blessed with friends in your life who cared and loved as hard as Todd did!

The days weeks and months following this awful day the Daniels family quickly set out on a misson to keep Todd's memory and light for life alive through the Todd Daniels Memorial Foundation! I am honored to be part of something so special and so meaningful to me!

Fast-forward almost three years and here we are! Through your help we have raised over $30,000 for the Todd Daniels Memorial Foundation. $20,000 has been placed in an endowment fund and $10,000 has been given to St. Mary's High School in scholarships! (St. Mary's High School located in south St. Louis is Todd's alma mater!) This makes my heart so incredibly happy! If it wasn't for YOU...yes YOU...our donors, golfers, and volunteers this would not be possible!

Last year I set a goal of raising $1000 on my own for this tournament. I was blown away and so thankful for each of you who donated! I surpassed my goal and had an end total of $1,245.00 in donations! Again, THANK YOU!
Having said that this year my goal is $1,500.00.

Anything you can donate is appreciated and allows for his spirit to live on through this foundation!

$100 donation sponors a hole for you or your business!
$5-$50 Dragon Boosters will be awknowledged throughout the tournament!

Again, I just cannot express how thankful I am to all of you. Through you I am able to continually keep his memory, his life, and his light alive! Todd was not only my best friend but a son, brother, uncle, and friend to MANY!

As I always said to Todd...
        Love you ALL long time!
