No to Brick Medical Marijuana ATC

As a veteran of the Marine Corps who understands the PTSD issues, I'm a resident living within 175 feet from the proposed Medical Marijuana Alternative Treatment Center, where they are looking to cut down 49,000sqft of trees next to a wild life refuge but also I’m a Husband and the most important role in my life is as a father of 4 children that play in the same neighborhood and I am against the proposed sight which is zoned Residential and is right in the middle of a neighborhood. We have 12 kids on our block which is also a bus stop for schools. I truly believe that there is a better location awaiting for the owners in a more appropriate commercial, industrial or Medical facility that would give those clients a little privacy and the residents back there neighborhood. I'm not looking to debate whether someone is for the use of Marijuana or not, because this issue is simple, No commercial business belongs in a residential neighborhood... period! This battle is going to be a long and arduous one as well as an expensive one which we are willing to challenge. The neighbors have come together to retain an attorney that is highly qualified to fight this battle against the big money Marijuana Dispensary owners and their financial backers. So this is where we are asking all of you residents in Ocean County, that don't think it is appropriate for a Medical Marijuana facility to be in Residential area, to help us battle this by donating to help alleviate the legal fees that we will be assuming. Today it's our community of residents that are being attacked and tomorrow it could be yours. Any bit will help we put a goal of $20,000  to get the experts needed to fight them. The Nov 19th date at Brick Township Townhall at 7pm is a critical one because that is when the appointed board members will vote on the ATC's proposal for a variance.
