Demonstration against gender based violence

Hi!
We are a group of young people and we are organizing a peaceful protest/demonstration against women violence and sexual harassment. Ever since the murder of Sarah Everard (March 3rd 2021) this subject has come to everyone’s attention, and has been very present in the media. Recent polls from the UK showed that out of every 100 women, 97% has ever experienced a form of sexual harassment. Because this is so present in the media right now and because it’s incredibly important we address this issue, we’re organizing this demonstration.
The demonstration will take place on April 11th 2021, from 2pm to 4pm CET on Malieveld in The Hague.
We are extremely excited to be able to organize this and we have a lot of plans. Now we need to get a podium and some technical installations so we can let some people speak to you all about this subject. The costs for this though, are quite expensive, so that’s why we’ve started this GoFundMe! We would really appreciate if you could chip in, every little bit helps! Our goal is to raise €500 to make sure we can afford all of this and make it the best experience possible for everyone!
If any money stays unspent, we will donate it to a charity such as UN Women Nederland.
