No Good Deed Goes Unpunished

As you all know, John being the good hearted guy that he is stopped to help someone & was stabbed multiple times. This isn’t easy for me (us) to do but you all have asked what you could do to help. You’ve said if we needed anything let you know. “Anything!” “Don’t hesitate!”

Well, we could really used some help paying the medical bills that are about to start streaming in. I’m not really sure what they will add up to but I’m gonna guess at least $3K (ambulance ride alone has to be close to a grand). We have some money put away because for the last 3 weeks we have been preparing to buy a condo. This is now on a bit of a hold & we will put that moneys towards these bills. We hope to do some negotiating w/ the hospital to get the bills down a lil’ bit. We were also contacted by victims  advocate from the hospital  & they stated they can help w/ the hospital bills but considering how extreme John’s injuries are & the fact that he will be seeing a hand specialist also, we will still be buried in hospital bills soon. 

I realize some of you are just as strapped for funds as we are. I understand if you can’t donate. Sharing this would be helpful too. 

Thank you again everyone that has put us in their prayers & thought. The kindness & love has been overwhelming. We have a long road ahead of us but together & w/ all of your continuous support we will get thru this!!
