No Blindness for Beth
Donation protected
Beth "Lehua" McKeen has lived in Hawaii for over 60 years, spending most of her life working to care for others. She is now retired, but spent many years as a teacher, a Guardian Ad Litem for kids who have no advocates, and as a volunteer to the community too many times to count. When you needed something, Beth was there. She was always there. And now she needs help from you. Beth is losing her eye sight to glaucoma. She is completely blind in her left eye and her right eye is crashing. She qualifies for a clinical trial that could help not only her, but millions of people across the world, kick optic nerve degeneration due to glaucoma-- the #1 cause of blindness. This is Beth's last chance, without this hope she will need to be moved into assisted living well before her time, which she cannot afford. As she lives in Hawaii, she needs to travel to California for 8 doctor’s visits for the trial. The money donated will go to airplane tickets and other transportation/lodging costs. Donation of airline miles is also greatly appreciated, and you can email [email redacted] for more information. Please give back to Beth, as she has given so much to so many.
