<div><strong>GYM #000 IS OPEN.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Pay it forward. The next 100 gyms change communities.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hello, I'm Mark Tee Armstrong — inventor of <strong>Basketball-the-Remix</strong> and founder of the <strong>No Backboard Basketball League.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For more than 20 years I personally paid for, produced, filmed, tested, taught, and shared No Backboard Basketball — long before there was a gym, a sponsor, or institutional backing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On September 1, 2026, that body of work got a physical home.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are in the first No Backboard Basketball League Training Gym &amp; Creator Studio. Full high school court. Bleachers. Stage. Production bird's nest. Classroom. This is Gym #000.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This campaign is no longer about getting us through the door.
</div>
<div>It is about keeping the doors open long enough to ramp correctly — so Gym #000 is not a one-month story, and so the next 100 gyms have a model worth copying.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>What changed</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>No Backboard Basketball is a faster, more precise, more creative version of the game played without a backboard — the futsal of basketball.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The game removes the bailout. Every shot has to be earned. Every make has to be clean. Players develop better touch, better focus, better decision-making, and better confidence.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Demand was already proven online. Millions of people have watched the content. Athletes have played it. Coaches have seen the training value. Families have responded.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>What we did not have — until now — was a home.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A first circle of supporters put $1,045 on this page. Combined with the work already done to secure the facility, that was enough to start. We are not going to pretend the job is finished. Starting is not the same as ramping.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>The new goal: three months of operating capital</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Youth basketball prices families out. Training, travel, uniforms, media, and club fees keep growing. NBBL exists to build a different stack: a gym where athletes train, families are not locked out, content can be produced, and young people can learn NIL, media, discipline, teamwork, and ownership of their story.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The mission has not changed. Save American basketball. Give that mission a home that lasts more than a press release.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This $75,000 now covers three months of overhead so we can:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>Keep the facility operating while programs fill
</li>
<li>Run youth training, rec play, club invite events, and No Backboard demonstrations
</li>
<li>Produce daily content from the court instead of talking about a court we do not have
</li>
<li>Stand up high school NIL programming and the creator studio
</li>
<li>Document the operating model so Gym #001 through #100 are copyable, not mythical
</li>
<li>That is the difference between opening a gym and building a category.
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>The math still works the same way</strong>
</div>
<ul>
<li>15,000 people × $5 = $75,000
</li>
<li>10,000 people × $7.50 = $75,000
</li>
<li>5,000 people × $15 = $75,000
</li>
<li>3,000 people × $25 = $75,000
</li>
<li>1,500 people × $50 = $75,000
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Every amount matters. </strong>A $5 donation helps. A share helps. A referral helps. A text to one coach, one parent, one pastor, one business owner helps.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is a community-powered campaign. No contribution is too small. No share is wasted.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Gym #000. Then 100.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Gym #000 is the prototype. Not a monument. A working node.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If this gym holds for 90 days, we can prove training demand, content output, family access, local sponsorship, and a repeatable operating rhythm. That proof is what the next 100 gyms require.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>You are not donating to a building. You are paying forward the first physical proof that this category can live off the internet and inside a community.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Watch. Listen. Then decide.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The videos on this page still tell the truth of the work: the mismatch between a validated audience and a small following, the high school pilot games, the NIL athlete interviews.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Use the GoFundMe Playlist</strong> — Listen to the Mission — as a sharing tool. Some people donate after reading. Some connect after watching. Some understand after hearing the music.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For the next 30 days we will also go live from the facility every day. You will see the court, the work, and the ramp in real time. That is the receipt.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>How you can help right now</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Donate any amount.
</div>
<ul>
<li>Share this campaign with basketball families, coaches, athletes, educators, investors, creators, business owners, and community builders.
</li>
<li>Ask 8 basketball families in your circle to contribute or share.
</li>
<li>Watch a live from the gym and send it to one person who should see it.
</li>
<li>Follow @nobackboards on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and X.
</li>
</ul>
<div>Business, sponsorship, and partnership inquiries are welcome separately.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Donations to this GoFundMe do not provide equity, ownership, repayment, revenue share, or financial return.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Final word</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I carried this vision for more than 20 years. I paid for it, filmed it, tested it, coached it, explained it, and kept building when there was no easy path.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The gym is no longer a future tense sentence.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Gym #000 is open. The game changed. The next 100 gyms change communities.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please donate. Please share. Please help us stay in long enough to do this the right way.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for helping us change the game — and change communities.
</div>
