Hello!
This fund is threefold -
1) To help cover the extremely expensive funeral costs.
2) Help support Christopher's dance expenses which are quite hefty.
3) Help with the loss of a second income in the family.
As you all know, it costs a lot of money to get a kid to college and it costs a lot of money to to support a kid in the arts!
Christopher is a dedicated and talented dancer in the middle of his freshmen year of high school. In addition to school he takes dance classes all week long and participates in competitions! Dance is expensive!
Time to be frank - Overnight Maya Siregar has become a single parent and is down to raising Christopher with just one income instead of two. That is daunting!
As a result, we calculated the yearly cost of all of Christopher's dancing expenses and classes and what it will be over the next three years to get him to college. The cost is actually upwards of over a hundred thousand dollars - oh boy! And we are not asking for that much! As big as our ask of $50,000, it is literally only a fraction of the actual out of pocket costs. But as we keep saying, we gotta get this kid to college, and he needs to keep up with dance to do it!
We understand that under any circumstances, big asks are hard.
And with Covid, financially things are even harder!
All we ask is that you give what you can, IF you can.
No amount is too small, no amount is too big :)
And please spread the word. Share this with everyone you know, not only who may know the Siregars, but anyone you know who may care and have the means to help out a kid in the arts!
