House full of Fungus

We moved with our family of 5, 2 adults and 3 children from Switzerland into our new Home in Portugal in September 2019, because it has always been a dream of ours to live in a country where we could go to the beach. It was not an easy transition, the first month we lived in a camping which was also a bit an adventure. When we finally found a house we thought we could call our home, we started to notice some quirks around the house after about one month of moving in. We started to realize that the food in our home was going bad very quickly, things would break easily, the heater was not working correctly, water was leaking from all kinds of places. We had spoken to the landlord many times about the stuff happening in the house and we were assured over and over again that they would take care of things. We had already mentioned that it seemed like there was fungus on the walls and they came over once to paint cement over the spots. Already having left soo much behind in Switzerland to move to our new Home in Portugal, with 2 kids and 1 baby to take care of we could not have imagined what was awaiting us at the house after having left the house for 10 days to spend time with our Family. The whole house was just full of fungus from the walls to the blankets, having destroyed our new bed that we had bought by scrapping up whatever money we could save. Almost all our clothes were affected by the moisture in the home and in every corner and everywhere you would look you could see the fungus growing! We arrived back "Home" ready to jump into our beds and where stunned by what we saw... The kids started crying because almost everything they had was destroyed, their school bags, school supplies, clothes, toys, etc... I am working full time during all of this and it isn't enough to come up for the 3 months upfront rent required. We will need $3000 to pay 3 months upfront rent required to get another place as fast as possible so that we can provide a home for our children and so that they can get back into school.
