The Razo Leukemia Fund
The Razo family is a loving, caring and hardworking family out of Reno, NV. Javier and Maria are wonderful friends, and loving parents to three beautiful girls Mayra, Jenette and Elizabeth. As many of us parents know, our children can keep us quite busy. Javier works full time in Tahoe about an hour outside of Reno everyday commuting to and from Reno, and has been for over 15 years. Maria takes on other duties and side jobs to help all the girls remain actively engaged in extra curricular activites. All three girls are envolved in soccer, music, gymnastics and karate taking up most-all of Maria's extra time running from place to place, either working or commuting, taking each different child a different activity.
Recently, with all of this going on and sometimes the difficulties of life itself; they discovered that Javier (husband and father) was sick and diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia. To make matters worse Javier was addmitted to the hospital for pnemonia with one lung infected and now both lungs are infected. Because he is so sick they cannot treat him for the leukemia and he has recently undergone a blood transfusion to aid in insufficient blood count levels. Not only can this family use our ongoing prayers, but now Javier is in the hospital and cannot work, Maria is by his side daily for support and hope that he will soon be treated for his illness and is working when she can. Regardless, this will not help the family and they are in need of support during this time. I would like to raise donations to help this family with whatever we can. Medical bills, food, clothing, house payment, bills etc. They are one of the most deserving families! I just ask God to remain with this family during this difficult time giving them patience, understanding, hope and continue to surround them in love.
