I first have to thank Amo Z for encouraging me to achieve more because of his generous donation that funded my campaign in less than an hour. Now I have set my goal to $8000. The first goal of $3000 for the Karam Foundation has been met. Now my next goal will be to raise funds for Karam Foundation and other Syrian charities that will help Syrian children only. Now the following is what I had started with...
I hope you all had a great summer. Unfortunately, as you know, not everyone on this planet gets to live and enjoy life as we do. I wanted to reach out to you today specifically to seek your help in helping me on a humanitarian project assisting a very small portion of the unfortunate situation of refugee Syrian kids. These children who have been displaced, orphaned, and left unnoticed are in dire need of the basic necessities we take for granted everyday. They don't have access to clean water, food, and proper clothes for the harsh winter months. These are just to name a few of the problems they face on a daily basis. My project is associated with Karam Foundation. When I checked in with Karam Foundation to see what they needed, they said they need 200 hygiene kits and back to school supplies. I decided to take on the task of putting together hygiene kits so they will be able to take them with them to the children at the end of October. Karam Foundation volunteers and members will be visitng the refugee camps in Turkey at that time. The 200 hygiene kits that I am going to put together will cost around $1,500 and I would also like to raise another $1500 to get them school supplies. My goal is seeking your financial help to put together the 200 hygiene kits and provide school supplies for the children refugees. I hope you all know that every penny counts in touching the lives of these amazing children who deserve a chance in making their world a better place.
If you are interested I will be sharing some links of some videos depicting the reality of the tragic lives these children are living. Many may be too graphic and sad for some viewers, they are the sad reality of the thousands of children living in horrible conditions today.
Thank you
