Dear Friends,
In November, I was hospitalized with yet another heart episode. Several abnlormalities were discovered. 2 of my 4 bypass grafts were found to have blockages. One was 100% blocked, the second was 99% blocked. They were able to stent the one artery. That was my 27th stent. The more disturbing news was my heart function. the same time last year my heart function was at 30%. within a year my haert function decreased to 11%. I lost 64% of my heart's ability to pump blood through my body. I am now on the heart transpalnt list.
I was able to supplement my income by driving for uber. Since November, I can no longer drive due to the side effects of my medication and my chronic fatigue. I started doing away with basic things, like cable and any other non essential extras. Rent was never a problem until now. I am, basically, forced to move to an apartment and live with a roommate to help share the cost of the rent.
My savings has been depleated by costs of treatment and medications that are not fully covered or not covered at all. I am not able to fully cover the cost of my security deposit and my portion of the first month's rent for the new unit. I've never been a person to ask others for help. I'm usually the one to be there to lend a hand. Asking for help is difficult.
That being said, I am finding myself in need of $1,500.00 to help cover costs of the security, first month's rent, and moving expences. I need to pay some people to help move things as I cannot lift anything any longer.
Anything that you can help with would be GREATLY appreciated. I'm out of options. January rent here still has a balance. I need to be out of this unit by February 1, 2018.
