Teenage Cancer Trust Fundraiser!

Tax deductible
Hi Everyone!

My eldest brother Josh passed away 12 years ago from an aggressive throat cancer. Josh was afraid that we would forget him. Before he passed, I promised him that I would take 2/365 days to remember him by playing his favorite video games (Warcraft, Diablo etc) and laughing about the good times we had.

However, this year I wanted to take this ONE STEP FURTHER. I know how painful it can be to lose a close family member to cancer. It breaks my heart to see the horrors cancer patients are having to face alone due to COVID19 (lack of treatment, very little/no support, increased risk of COVID19).

I've decided to raise money for the teenage cancer trust as this will help those who were a similar age to my brother. This charity will help individuals and their families access the care, treatment and support they need. For every £1 donated, 77p goes directly to treatment rather than advertising.

In order to raise money, I've decided to challenge myself and walk 500 miles over the next 31 days (21st May - 21st June). This journey is equivalent to the length of the English mainland (426 miles) from Land’s End to Marshall Meadows Bay in Northumberland. This will consist of me completing between 20,000 (rest days) - 40,000 steps on a daily basis.

Dont worry, I will be respecting social distancing by wearing a mask and starting my walking from 4:30am. This will allow me to finish the majority of my steps before people wake up and exercise.

This brings me onto my next point. I currently work as an Exercise Physiologist and Personal Trainer. I can honestly say that completing 4-6 hours of brisk walking a day is not easy on your feet or body! Please note, that I will also be completing 4 full body calisthenic home workouts every week, alongside plenty of Yoga to keep my body from breaking (I am flat footed and have a few injuries).

There will be plenty of suffering on my end for a good CAUSE!

If you want to follow me on my Journey, please follow me on [email redacted]ness and subscribe to my Youtube Channel for the after math video!

Finally, Thank you for any Donations! :)
