Funeral Costs for my Father

On the 1st of September, in the late afternoon, after a short battle with Long Covid complications, my father (Jean Sebastien Maludi) unfortunately passed away. I cannot begin to describe the hole his passing has left with my family and our community. He was a loving husband to my beautiful mother and an amazing father to his children. Although grief stricken and filled with sadness, we are all grateful for having him in our lives. He gave an abundance of love and care to everyone he encountered, his joy easily spread through a room. He would go above and beyond whatever we asked of him, a truly selfless man who supported us through all of our wants and dreams. He was the smartest man I have ever encountered, becoming a jack of all trades and a master of practically everything he endeavoured in. From his engaging photography to his stunningly written short films, our father was on the precipice of achieving his life long dream before his sudden hospitalisation. His legacy will live throughout his children and those who supported his artistic vision throughout his lifetime.

We want to make sure that those who loved my father can all come together and say goodbye to him in a dignified, respectful fashion that he deserves. Coming from a very small family, there is only so much money we can put towards my father's funeral. The pandemic has left a lot of people in difficult financial situations so I understand that some may not be able to give, however, any amount given to this fund will be sincerely appreciated! A share can go a long way in raising awareness as well.
