Evie's Cancer Medical Expenses

On behalf of the Passaic High School Marching Band Staff we are trying to help our Band Director Christopher Rusca pay off his mothers medical bills.
Evelyn was diagnosed with breast cancer in March of 2014 and passed away on January 2 of 2015. Evie was 61 years old and leaves behind her only son Christopher and her two dogs. Its been two months since her passing and between property taxes, funeral, and medical services the bills are piling up. Evelyn was determined to fight the cancer and went through chemotherapy sessions and rehabilitation before being put into hospice care. She spent her final days at her sons home and had a home health aid to assist her.
Evie was such a selfless human being and she raised her son with those same morals. She was his number one supporter with his career choice and she also gave him that great tough love that every mom knows how to give! She was a dog lover before anything else and she also loved the beach and refinishing furniture.... she loved the simple things in life and she always made sure to remind people that it was all about the little things! She always carried a smile on her face and her sense of humor always brought a smile to anyone who was around even towards the end of her fight.
Hes always been our rock and now its our turn to be his!
Christopher Rusca has been the band director at Passaic Highschool for the past 13 years and has touched hundreds of lives and has always made himself available to his students/coworkers whenever they needed something. Rusca has taught us all more than just music hes taught us about life and how to be a great person and for that he always thanked his mother. We are grateful to have him in our lives and we would love to be able to help him during this difficult time in his life. every donation will be appreciated and even if you cannot donate if you could just share the page that would be a great help as well.
