Good Golly Miss Molly

Molly woke up normal as ever Thursday morning and her mom told her to get up and get dressed for school. Went to get the baby up and when she came back to her room to check on her she was sitting on her chair in just her underwear. When her mom told her to get moving she began talking but nothing made sense. She said a couple of sentences and I knew something wasn’t right. I couldn’t get her to look at me or talk. She was in a complete daze and kept moving her head to the right whenever I would turn her to look at me. I told Spencer to get Parker to school and come straight back so we could bring her to the doctor. In the short time he was gone things got stranger quickly. She began to drool while getting her dressed and kept her head turned. I called 911, and while on the phone with them she began to have a seizure. The paramedics arrived quickly and began working on her. She continued to seize until they gave her meds to stop it and sedate her. Arrived at WRMC where they did a CAT scan, 2 EKG’s, urine and flu test. All normal. They began talking about getting us to Children’s. Since the NWA  one isn’t open for this yet, Molly and I took a helicopter ride to LR. Once we arrived here she became more like her sassy self, just hungry. We had an EEG which showed slight swelling of her lower left lobe, indicative of the seizure. She has an MRI scheduled for Friday afternoon where, best case scenario, she will be diagnosed with epilepsy.
